Willimantic – Jane H. Rozelle, 92, passed away September 5, 2023, at Northern Light CA Dean Hospital, Greenville. She was born March 9, 1931, in Bradford, the daughter of Arthur E. and Doris (Jones) Hanson. Jane would be the first to tell you that she was a very blessed woman. At an early age she accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and from that point on she wanted to be ready and willing for whatever He wanted her to do. That led to her marrying Lloyd, raising 3 children, being “Grammy Jane” to her grand- children and great grandchildren, working on their farm, being a pastor’s wife, running a Christian school, running a summer camp, writing several books and reaching out to her neighbors (She never met a stranger.). She was so thankful for the opportunities the Lord gave to her through her 92 years to serve Him. She faithfully lived to her last days praising the Lord and seeking to reach others with His love. Jane is survived by her son, David Rozelle and his wife, Joy of Idaho; daughter, Deanna Dauphinee and husband, Steven, of Willimantic; grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren and several extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd Rozelle; son, Eric Rozelle; daughter-in-law, Lenore Rozelle; and grandson, Shane Rozelle. Private family committal will be in the Pond Road Cemetery, Bradford. A memorial service will be held September 30 at 3:00pm at the Willimantic Community Church.
