Dover-Foxcroft – Sonya M. (Mayhew) Conner, 43, passed away September 3, 2023, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, with family by her side. She was born May 24, 1980, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Weston H. and Pranee (Intrayot) Mayhew. Sonya was a graduate of Piscataquis Community High School, Class of 1998. She worked as an insurance agent for over 20 years with most of those being for Kimball Insurance in Sangerville. Sonya will best be remembered as a loving mother; Bella was absolutely her pride and joy. She had a passion for traveling and going on adventures and enjoyed shopping, apple picking, going to the beach, and camping with family and friends. Sonya is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Conner; her daughter, Isabelle Conner; parents, Weston and Pranee Mayhew; father-in-law, Steve Conner and wife, Carol; mother-in-law, Terri Cushing and husband, Joe; brother-in-law, Joshua Conner and wife, Amy; nephew, Adam Conner; niece, Allison Conner; sister-in-law, Sarah Harvey; and best friends Jenn and Ryan London and their son, Cooper. A time of visitation will be held 6-8PM Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
