I have many fond memories of Doris. She and I both sang in the Baptist Church choir when I was growing up. She was always a positive and uplifting person. I also worked with her on the Foxcroft Academy Trustees board for many years. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear of Doris's passing. She was a great classmate and contributor to FA and the community. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Doris was a caregiver for Pine Tree Hospice here in Dover-Foxcroft. I remember how she shared a gift of music with her clients. She would sing hymns to and with them. I was reminded of this gift recently when Jody told of a kind person who visited with her and they sang together.
I was saddened to read of Doris' passing. I worked with her years ago on Winter Street. She was a mentor and a friend. I'll miss her smile and laugh. RIP dear Doris
