Sangerville – Orman McPheters entered eternal rest on Sunday evening, November 20, 2016, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft, at the age of 87. He was the son of A. Hubert McPheters and Myrtie (Lane) McPheters. He was raised on the family farm in the North Dexter area and lived his entire life in Sangerville. He spent most of his life outside of farming, as a self-taught, accomplished carpenter. He was well known for his honesty and integrity. He leaves behind one brother, Donald McPheters and his wife, Joyce, of New Hampshire, and special friends, Kathy Starbird (caregiver) and her husband, Jere Starbird. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters, Sylvia Dinkins (Florida), Evelyn Gunther (Ohio); two brothers, Arthur (infant), Errol (2 years old); and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours in honor of his wishes. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Guilford. He will be dearly missed!
