Obituary of Louise G. Dulac
Dover-Foxcroft – Louise G. Dulac passed away August 10, 2023, in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born November 18, 1945, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Bell. She graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1964 and then worked at Dexter Shoe Co., where she met her late husband, Merle J. Dulac. Louise grew up on the Bear Hill Road and they raised their family there. She was a member of the Pine Needle Christmas Club and was an active member until moving to Pleasant Meadows. She was a devoted Catholic and spent many years teaching Christian Education to the youth of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael Dulac and his partner, Jennifer, of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother, James Bell and his wife, Olivia, of Dexter; a sister, Susan Russotti, of Dexter; sister-in-law, Judy Bell of Dexter; brother-in-law, David Brumm of Pittsfield; and bonus daughter, Gale Hall and spouse, Wesley, of Dexter. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Eliza/Brandon, Adam/Abby, Alex and Aidan. She was Gramm Gramm to Travis/Brittany, and Danni/Destry, and Me Me to two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Oliver, and Gramm Gramm to Dominic and Dezzi. She leaves a special niece and goddaughter, Jennifer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Ann Dulac; granddaughter, Ella Dulac; brother, Robert Bell; sister, Sally Bell Brumm; and brother-in-law, Michael Russotti.
Louise’s family extends special thanks to all the many friends and family that Louise has made at Pleasant Meadows over the last few years and all the ladies and Paul and Adam who have taken such good care of her. Thank you to Dr. Dave and Ellen McDermott for their kindness, friendship and attention!
Services will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Dover-Foxcroft at 10:00 am Thursday, August 24, 2023, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery after the service. A Celebration of Life will take place at the community center at Thayer Parkway Senior Living Center in Dover-Foxcroft after the burial.
