Gerry was a wonderful person and I'll miss him. He once bought a dog from me. She was a German Shorthaired Pointer who Gerry named Speck. She lived her best life with Gerry and Joan, running ahead of Gerrys truck in Blue Mountain Forest, protecting the game feeders from marauding squirrels and terrorizing the wild boar. Gerry had a constant smile and a wonderful demeanor. Rest well my friend!

My condolences to the entire Merrill family. My memories of "Jerry" go all the way back to riding horses at the Merrill homestead in my youth. Through the years as I would talk with him, he always had a new hunting story! He will be missed.
