Sebec - Joseph Ryan Emery, beloved son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend passed from this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the age of 37. His death was senseless and tragic. He is survived by his parents, Linda and Kevin Kibbe of Leesburg, Florida, and his sister, Jessica Collins of Sanford Maine. He also leaves behind an amazing son, Nathan Emery, and daughter, Mariah Emery of N. Berwick, Maine. He has countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and extended family who will forever hold him in their hearts. Joseph was always a hard worker, his last job was at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH, before he went to Sebec. Although he stayed in Sebec for awhile, his heart was always in N. Berwick with his children. Joseph loved hunting and fishing and walking the trails with his Uncles Mark, Dennis, and Rene. The woods always brought him a sense of peace, he never lost his sense of wonder when stumbling across a turtle or chipmunk or any wildlife. Joes first love though was always his family and friends. He was never afraid to admit he was a mammas boy. He shared family gatherings with his friends because those lucky enough to call him friend became extended family.. The outpouring of shock and condolences on social media is noted and appreciated but currently his family members are struggling and deeply bereft.
