Sangerville - Carroll Arthur “Bub” Carle, 79, husband of the late Janice L. Carle, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, at his Center Pond home that he proudly built. He was born on October 15, 1943, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Carroll Asa Carle and Mildred Foster Carle. Bub became a Registered Maine Guide in 1962 and was an avid outdoorsman that taught many. He spent a lifetime in building construction and heavy equipment. He was brutally honest and a man among men who encouraged others and offered guidance as he loved helping everyone. He is survived by his two daughters Joann Lovell and her husband, Dana, and children, Jessica and Jeremy Bell; his daughter, Debi Gould and special son-in-law, Mike, and daughter, Samantha Brawn; sisters, Irene McPhetres, Nora Jean Lemieux and Sheril Peters and special brother-in-law Jerry Peters; and several special nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Clark. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on June 4th, 2023 at 2:00PM at the Townhouse Road Cemetery in Sangerville. All are invited to the reception at his home after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family will be collecting donations to Beacon Hospice to donate in his honor.
