Sangerville – Arlene Knowlton Jordan, 93, wife of the late Lawrence C. “Jake” Jordan, passed away peacefully May 6, 2023, at Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born December 16, 1929, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Lyle C. and Annie E. (Lankist) Knowlton. Arlene was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her whole family that she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed playing bingo and poker with her dear friends for many years. She will be missed by many. Arlene is survived by two daughters, Candace Jordan, and Toni Pinkham and husband, William; three sons, Gregory Jordan and wife, Beverly, Kelly Jordan and wife, Nancy, and Brad Jordan and partner, Sheryl Love; granddaughters, Christine Miller and husband, Darrell, Jennifer Jordan, Kimberly Wyman and husband, Nathan, and Brittawny Jordan; grandsons, Chad Kimball and wife, Steph, Andrew Jordan and wife, Nico, and Matthew Pinkham; great-grandchildren, Christian, Katelyn, and Krista Kimball, Luke Jordan, Dusty Miller, and Grace Pinkham. Family and friends are invited to visit 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside funeral service will be held 10AM Thursday, May 11, at the family lot in the Knowlton’s Mills Cemetery, Sangerville. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
