Obituary of Christopher Allen Storer
Guilford – Christopher Allen Storer, also known as “Stroker”, 41, passed away unexpectedly April 29, 2023, in Guilford. Chris was born May 12, 1981, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Robert and Linda Storer. He attended Guilford schools and graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Class of 2000. Chris was on the soccer team, track and field team, and chess team. He also was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Chris was a kind, loving, and gentle soul and would help anyone; he would give up the shirt off his back just so they wouldn't have to go without. If Chris saw you in a store he would say hi to you and talk for a few minutes. He loved animals, especially dogs. Chris was creative in the kitchen with his culinary skills; he loved cooking for his family and friends. He also enjoyed and was very well known for his fiddlehead and rhubarb picking. Loving to make everyone laugh, Chris enjoyed making hats on one of his knit around, and giving them to friends and family or donating them to help the less fortunate. He also enjoyed making jelly for his son, Hunter, and going to the park and playing with him on the swings and slide. Chris loved the outdoors and he could live off the land. Chris adored camping with his son, Hunter, and his fiancée, Lisa. He could be found buying her flowers as much as he could do so. Chris worked helping with roofing, sheetrocking, agriculture planting vegetables and garlic, and construction. Chris spent time helping his good friend, Adam St. Louis, around his home.
Chris is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda Storer of Sangerville; his fiancée, the love of his life, Lisa Emerson of Skowhegan; their son, Hunter Emerson, who was Chris's whole world and joy; uncles, Donnie Young and Roger Young; many cousins; and special friends of Chris and his family, Debbie and Allen Drew of Guilford, and Adeline and Jim Harrington of Willimantic. He thought of Christine Levine of Milo as his sister. He will be missed by special friends, Adam St. Louis of Sangerville, Jami and Isaac Rollins of Skowhegan, Calvin Ames of Sangerville, Chad Bush of Guilford, and Lisa and Josh Baird of Dover-Foxcroft, and many, many friends who loved and cared about him for whom he was. He will be greatly and lovingly, sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rhoda and Ronald Young, and Beatrice and Robert Storer.
