Sangerville – Varland Llewellyn Gray II, 31, passed away unexpectedly with his dad by his side, at his home on April 7, 2023. He was born in Bangor on April 26, 1991, the son of Varland Llewellyn Gray of Sangerville and Lori Lee Milne of Leighhigh Acres, FL. Varland attended school at PCHS in Guilford. He worked at several jobs, laborer, woodsman, and was a lobsterman. Varland enjoyed spending his time outdoors having fun. The most important thing was spending time with his five beautiful children. Varland truly loved his family and is survived by his father, Varland L. Gray of Sangerville; his mother, Lori L. Milne and her husband, Dan, of Leighhigh Acres, FL; his five children, Varland Llewellyn Gray III, Grayson Alexander Gray, Lane Isaac Gray, Aubriannah Lee Gray Rattigan, and Ammiah Charlie Ann Gray Rattigan, all of Sangerville; a sister, Hailey Guild and her husband, Nick, of Livermore Falls; a brother, Stanley Coppa and his wife, Starshy, of Howland; his nana, Beverly Michaud and partner, Marc Marcy, of Dover-Foxcroft. He leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins, and with special love and thank you to his Aunt Patsy Gray, Uncle Mike Rattigan, and his cousin, Trisha Gray Rattigan, who are now raising his five beautiful children in Sangerville. Varland was predeceased by his Nana Pat, his Bampa Ralph Gray, and Glenn Shelley. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday July 1, 2023, at the Village Cemetery in Sangerville, with a gathering immediately after at the Sangerville Fire Department.
