Obituary of Lee D. Spear
Milo and Old Town – Lee D. Spear, 89, passed away April 24, 2023, at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. She was born July 22, 1933, in Marblehead, MA, the daughter of Herman and Dorothy (Dodd) Tremblay. She served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a medic. There she met her husband, Dale; they were married March 17, 1954. Lee had worked as the manager in the deli at the Milo’s Farmers Union for twenty years.
She loved the water and floating on Schoodic Lake. She was very creative, could do anything and loved arts and crafts. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dale A. Spear; her parents; her siblings, Louis Tremblay, Joseph Tremblay, Theodore Dodd, Raymond Tremblay, and Richard Tremblay.
She is survived by her sister, Louise Tremblay; a brother, Charles Tremblay and his wife, Ruby; her children, Dale A. Spear, Jr., Barry S. Spear, Shelly L. Spear-Hamilton. She leaves her grandchildren, Jessica Wilson and husband, Cody, Andrea Soule and husband, Dan, Joshua Hamilton, Ariana Hamilton, Nathan Spear, and Claire Spear.
