I just heard of Freemont's passing. I worked with him at his first group home after Pineland. He was a joy to be with, you could always count on a few good jokes and work was never boring. He was loved by many and will be fondly remembered. Friend and staff of Freemont. Nancy

He did like his sunglasses. He'd buy a lot of them at mountains market when I worked there

Q: What will you miss most about Freemont?
A: I will miss you my friend. I will miss hearing the sounds of Andy Griffin throughout the house and you telling Andy just how it was. I will miss our trips to the store for you to buy sunglasses and a candy bar. Until we meet again..

Freemont was the sweetest man! Even after I got done working for Penguins I still visited him. We’d go for coffee…to Renys…Walmart…Dollar Tree or wherever he wanted to go that day. I’m going to miss his jokes, his laughter, his bear hugs…I’m going to miss everything about him. Freemont was someone you never forget! RIP my friend. I will love n miss you forever! ❤️

Freemont is and was an amazing man. He reminded me of my gramp that passed away three years ago. I looked forward to seeing him when i went to work. Ill never forget the day i turned the van around so he could yell hello and good job to some cops. He never stopped smiling. I will miss him so much.

There are many favorite memories when it comes to Freemont, but the one that stands out is his love of the old country music. I spent numerous hours listening to him crooning away to Johnny Cash & Patsy Cline amongst others. Rest in Peace my friend!

OH, the memories of this dear dear man! He endured much and loved the simple things.
I'll never forget the middle of the night calls when Fremont needed to talk, not tomorrow, not over the phone but at his apartment. Devising "contracts" at 2:00am over coffee will never be forgotten.

Q: What will you never forget about Freemont?
A: One of my favorite memories was when Freemont would tell a joke and then slap his knee and yell Joke!
