Harmony – Peter C. Kennedy, 72, passed away March 14, 2023, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital surrounded by the ones he loved. He was born January 8, 1951, in New Bedford, MA.  He was the son of Leonard and Rhoda Kennedy of Wareham, Massachusetts.   Peter loved his family as deeply as a person could, and reminded them of it daily. He was an avid gardener, and had two green thumbs. He enjoyed hours in his garden, and in his greenhouse.  He was always full of amazing advice, but he always was patient and willing to watch you learn on your own.  Heaven gained a wonderful person and the Lord's gardens will be more fruitful than ever with him around.  He will be missed everyday.  Peter is survived by his loving wife, Linda Green Kennedy; two sons, Nicholas Kennedy and his wife, Erika, and Shawn Kennedy and his wife, Beth; two grandchildren, Nyla Larrabee and Mikaila Kennedy; brother, Lenny Kennedy and his wife, Jackie; sister, Dawn Cook; and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and older brother, Norman Ingles.   A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, plant one. He would like that.
