Hello,I met Trelba through my visits to Jean Mc Kusick in Milo. I,too, love to sew and had been to Trelba’s house showing her some of my work. She was always excited about my projects. She had given me a piece of turquoise brocade out of which I made a blouse and mask during the pandemic. She gave me a box of fabrics which she used when making her necktie purses and she also gave me a ton of neckties! In fact, I just finished the top of a necktie quilt. I am so glad that she and I had the opportunity to know one another. Trelba was indeed, one in a million!❤️❤️

Dear, Dear Trelba ! We had such a wonderful dinner and visit at Thanksgiving. She was quite a lady and treasured by so many people in so many ways for so many things. In 101 years she touched so many lives and the ripples of her kindness, positive attitude and joy of living will travel onward. Our family has been blessed to know her.

Trelba was generous with both the Farm and its family history, and we so enjoyed both the Farm and spending time with her there. This picture is of Trelba and Lori (Willis) Rumery in the summer of 2007 at a group birthday party at the Farm.

We loved swinging by to visit Trelba whenever we were in town, and she always took the time for a visit. This is Trelba and Gloria (Golden) Willis visiting on Trelba's porch in July of 2015.

My Dear Friend Trelba You Will Always Have A place In My Heart! We Met Through The Garden Club In Milo And You Welcomed Me Warmly! You Reminded Me So Much Of My Grandmother Who I Missed so Terribly. I Would Sit With You Through The Meetings And Listen To Your Wonderful Stories All The Knowledge You Had Gained Over The Years. We Spoke Of The Ripps And the Family Farm & Cemetary & Thats When I Was Introduced To A Piece Of Heaven. I Recieved Permission From You & Started The Clean Up Of The Cemetary That was Forgotten & Overgrown With Weeds & Brush. I Worked Many Hours Raking Cutting Bleaching Stones & When You Came To see It You Was So Surprised & Happy It Warmed My Heart So Ive Been Doing The Spring Clean Up for Several Years. I Love The History Of The Ripps & The Many Friends Ive Made With The Camp Owners Such A Wonderful Group of People Who Make You Feel like Family. Trelba You Will certainly Be Missed By 101 Years Of Friends & Family! Im So Glad We Met I Will Always Keep You In My Heart My friend I Love You & Will Continue To Care For The Cemetary In Your Memory. Im Planting Some Flowers For I Know How Much They Pleased you.
