Waterville and Sangerville - Angela Mae Carlow Wells, 73, passed away at home on January 28, 2023. Angela was born on November 11, 1949, in Hartland, the daughter of Florian V. and Joyce E. (Robins) Carlow. She attended Monson Elementary and graduated from P.C.H.S. in Guilford, Class of 1967. She married Frederick C. Spaulding on October 30, 1965, and together they had three sons. She later married Fairfield B. “Mickey” Wells on October 15, 1977, and they had one son together. Angie had many jobs throughout her life with her first being at the East Corinth Shoe Shop. She then waitressed at Mountain’s in Dexter, moved on to Dexter Shoe, later waitressing at Dottie’s Restaurant in Guilford, then on to Guilford Woolen Mill, and finally retiring from Hardwood Products. After her husband Mickey passed away she sold her home in Sangerville and moved to an apartment in Seaton Village in Waterville. She spent the last few years working at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. She truly enjoyed her work there and enjoyed some wonderful friendships as well. Angie is survived by her three sons, Florian "Randy" Spaulding and fiancée, Valerie Saunders, of Dover-Foxcroft, Darrell Spaulding and wife, Shannon, of Sangerville, and Anthony Wells and wife, Michelle, of Norway; six grandchildren, Brandon Spaulding of Hartland, Danielle Spaulding of Waterville, Chad Spaulding of West Springfield, PA, Ebony Wells and partner, Benjamine Saap, of Otisfield, Frankie Wells of Camp Pendleton, CA, and Jasmine Wells and partner, Asa Austin, of Norway; 2 great-grandchildren, Zoey and Cayson Spaulding; two sisters, Linda Moulton and husband, Larry, of Dexter, and Betty Sturgeon of Sherman; many nieces and nephews; she will be especially missed by a very long time friend and companion, Ron Kronholm; and her special canine companion, Cyndi. She was predeceased by her infant son, Frederick Charles; husband, Fairfield B. Wells; and two brothers, Florian”Bugsy” Carlow and Alanison “Antsie” Carlow. There will be a graveside committal service for family at the Sherman Cemetery and a Celebration of Angie’s Life at the South Sangerville Grange Hall in the spring to share stories and memories. The times and dates will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Habitat for Humanity. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
