Milo – Lorraine M. Nutbrown, 85, passed away peacefully December 10, 2022, at Pleasant Meadow Estates in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born May 11, 1937, in Charleston, the daughter of Stanley A. and Edith M. (Tilton) Trimm. Lorraine started her working career at PCI in Brownville after her children were in school and finished her career as a medical transcriptionist. No matter where Lorraine went she would instantly meet friends; she was a very personable and memorable person even though she will be remembered by her family as being one with no filter. She was a wonderful mother and she sacrificed everything for her children. Lorraine really enjoyed the simple things, the relationships she had with others, shopping, yard sales, camping, and sitting in the sun. Lorraine was predeceased by the love of her life and father of her children, Malcolm Royal, Sr. She is survived by her children; a daughter, Donna Estes and her husband, Scott; three sons, Kendall Royal and wife, Julie, Kevan Royal and wife, Lisa, Richard Royal and wife, Shawna; daughter-in-law, Vicki Royal; two sisters, Nathalie Lancaster, and Cheryl Ford and husband, Peter; 10 grandchildren, Cristy Demers, Ryan Royal, Jamie Royal, Jeremy Reynolds, Heather Peters, Morgan Gray, Jessica Dyer, Miranda Beard, Carissa Ogden and Jacob Estes.; 19 great-grandchildren; special friends, Debbie Dyer and Juanita Crowley; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to Malcolm Sr., she was predeceased by her son, Malcolm “Danny” Royal Jr.; grandson, Christopher Royal; and sister, Alice McInnis. The family wishes to acknowledge the special bond and thank Lorraine’s sister, Nathalie, for always looking out for her and always being there for her support. Family and friends are invited to visit 2PM until time of memorial service at 3PM Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
