Abbot - Violet June Hunt, 72, passed away peacefully November 18, 2022, at home with her loving family at her side. After a hard fought battle with cancer she was called Home to be reunited with her husband, Frank, of 49 and 1/2 years. In her later years, Violet enjoyed her time as a full time mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest pride in life was the family she raised and will always be remembered for her wisdom, sense of humor, and loud laugh. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her kiddos; taking walks and watching their sports games. She was a lover of the outdoors, including fishing, snowmobiling, and feeding her pet crows. She was a force of a woman who will be missed very much. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank William Hunt Sr., and her best friend, Irene Patterson. She is survived by her sons, Frank “Sam” Hunt Jr. and Kenny Hunt, of Abbot; her grandchildren, Gage Hunt, Mercedes Cullicut, Meranda Hunt and her significant other, Brendon Mulherin, Samantha Noke and her husband, Kendall, Forrest Hunt and his wife, Shelby, Anna Rideout, and Lani Rideout; their mothers, Debra Hunt and Georgia Rideout; her special grandson in law, Jonah Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Hope, Hayden, Riley, Autumn, Jase, Brayden, Grace, and Ellie.
