Obituary of Daniel A. Brown

Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Orneville - Daniel A. Brown, 55, passed away October 20, 2022, at his home with his family at his side. He was born April 21, 1967, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Everett L. and Cherylee (Olsen) Brown. Danny was self-employed in the trucking industry most his life, owning and operating Daniel A. Brown and Sons Trucking. He could usually be found working during the week and puttering all weekend. He worked hard to play harder. Danny would give the shirt off his back to anyone and will be remembered as one who loved to joke and tell stories. You never had to wonder what was on Danny’s mind, he would always lay it right out for you. Once he got started, you’d laugh all night. Danny was a good baseball player in school and loved baseball, a “cold one”, burnin’ rubber and making excessive noise, hunting, fishing, and most of all, his boys. Danny is survived by the love of his life and longtime companion, Bonnie Russell; two sons, Bradley Brown and Cooper Brown and his significant other, Sammy; grandson, Reece Brown; mother, Cherylee Brown; sister, Kim Smith and her husband, Mike, and her daughter, Becky, and Becky’s son, Reid; aunt, Karen Smith and her husband, Linwood; sister-in-law, Crystal Grant and her husband, Chad, and their daughters, Macee and Mylee; mother-in-law, Cheryl Russell; his two dogs, Queenie and Dottie West; and many great friends who are too numerous to name. A funeral service will be held 5PM Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
