Obituary of Hunter J. Stephens

Dover-Foxcroft – Hunter J. Stephens, 28, passed away October 9, 2022. He was born February 26, 1994, in Plymouth, MA, the son of Nelson G. and Beth M. (Vincent) Stephens. Hunter graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 2012, and worked for White Mountain Cable as a fiber cable splicer. He was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoyed fishing, hunting, skating, tennis, golf, and especially snowboarding at Sugarloaf with Nellie and Clara. Hunter loved his toys and enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and side x side. He loved to make people laugh and brighten their day. Hunter was especially proud of his daughter, Violet. He will be greatly missed by everyone who encountered him. Hunter is survived by his parents, Nelson and Beth Stephens; life partner, Jillian Annis and their daughter, Violet; two sisters, Clara Stephens and her significant other, Jacob Praay, and Marissa Stewart and her husband, Ryan; niece, Julianna; and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Nelson G. Stephens III; paternal grandparents, Nelson and Madalyn Stephens; and maternal grandparents, Richard Vincent Sr., Ronald and Jeanette Williams. Family and friends are invited to visit 4-7PM Thursday, October 13, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A funeral service will be held 1PM Friday, October 14, at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to benefit his little girl, Violet Jo, to the Hunter Stephens Memorial Fund, C/O Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union, P.O.
