LaGrange – Leslie Parker Lincoln, Jr., 82, passed away September 5, 2022, at his home. He was born May 5, 1940, in LaGrange, the son of Leslie P. and Lula (Hichborn) Sr. A U.S. Army veteran, Leslie had worked for American Concrete, the Howland Tannery, Weymouth Trucking Co., and drove a skidder and truck in the logging industry. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and enjoyed fishing, picking berries and fiddleheads. Most important to him was time spent with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susan (Frost) Lincoln; four children, Leslie “Buddy” Lincoln III and his wife, Lorna, of Texas, Denise Brown and her husband, Tracy, of Milo, Penny Smith and her husband, Daniel, of Bradford, and Robin Rawding and her husband, Adam, of Sanford. He leaves 13 grandchildren, Daniel Smith and wife, Jayme, Casey Brown and partner, Andrew, Samantha Lincoln and partner, Eric, Tonya Rawding and partner, Josh, Ryan Smith, Susanne Kingsbury and husband, Cody, Victoria Lincoln and partner, Mike, Matthew Smith, Lindsay Cianci and husband, Thomas, Kyla Morgan and husband, John, Kaylee Coker and husband, Kirk, Brianna Bostwick-Ashley and husband, Shawn, and Tami Smith; 15 great-grandchildren, Connor, Keera, Alex, Travis, Catherine, Cheryl, Madison, Lucas, Aniya, Mikey, Caden, Noah, Jenny, Orion, and Asher; and his brothers and sisters, Dory, Lois, David, Evelyn, and Priscilla. He was predeceased by his siblings, Irma, Blanche, Carolyn “Cal”, Charlie, Jerry, Alice, and Isabelle. Leslie will be remembered by his childhood friend, Stanley Gray and his wife, Betty, of Orneville. A graveside memorial service with military honors will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Hillside Cemetery, LaGrange, with Pastor Jonathon Ray officiating.
