Milo – Albina Carolyn (Herbest) Emery passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 27, 1939, in Orneville, the daughter of the late Calvin and Myla (Lyford) Herbest. Biny spent many years at home raising her family. She later went on to work at several jobs: Knapp’s Grocery Store, Basketville, and Dexter Shoe Co. Mom’s favorite pastime was time spent with family. They were her heart and soul. She is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Emery of Milo, Joan Emery and her significant other, Joseph Morrill, of Hudson, and Jean Larson and her husband, Scott, of Milo; her grandchildren, Chad Emery of Florida, Nick Emery and his wife, Haley, of Bradford, Kiel Larson and his wife, Taylor, of Brownville, Lexi Larson and her significant other, Mike Vachon, of Kenduskeag, Madisyn Bellatty and her significant other, Zach. She leaves four great-grandchildren, Lily, Liza, Lane, and Lyla. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laurie Emery. Mom gave religiously to the Shriners Hospital and to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Any donations in her name would mean a lot to her. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, July 22, 2022, at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with a remembrance get-together at Joan’s home, 422 Corinth Road, Hudson, after the service.
