Guilford - Jane L Stevens, 71, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born on April 14, 1945, in Portland. She lived most of her life in the Guilford area. Jane loved children and was a foster mother to several children over the years. She loved to cook and was a devoted caregiver. She is survived by her mother, Alice Fossett; a brother, Wayne Cleaves and his wife, Pat; three nephews and their spouses Paul and Pam Cleaves, Michael and Debbie Cleaves, and David and April Cleaves. She is also survived by 4 great nieces and nephews, Ashley Cleaves, Jenny Cleaves, Robbie Cleaves and Zeb Cleaves. A graveside service will be held at the Abbot Cemetery on October 22, 2016 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Guilford.
