Obituary of Rosalind Zambrano

Brownville Junction – Rosalind Zambrano, 85, wife of Marco S. Zambrano, passed away peacefully May 18, 2022, at Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born June 10, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Herman and Bertha Santer. Rosalind was an incredibly kind and generous woman. Roz lived in many states throughout her life with her loving husband, Marco, who was active military in the Navy for 20 years; they were happily married for 58 years and retired at their home in Brownville Jct. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart; she often would frustrate her husband by buying an abundance of Christmas presents that would fill the entire living room. In addition to her loving husband, Marco, Rosalind is survived by two sons, Anthony Zambrano and Robert Bruhy and his wife, Sue Bruhy; three daughters, Christine DeYoung and her husband, Gene, Patricia Pottle and her husband, Kevin, and Rhonda Kliner and her husband, Gary; sister, Elaine Oxman and her husband, Marty; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Ross; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Marty Oxman; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Zambrano. A graveside memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the PineTree Cemetery in Brownville Junction. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/maine?form=alz_donate.
