Milo – Carole C. Brown, 72, passed away peacefully May 11, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. She was born July 4, 1949, in Millinocket, the daughter of Francis and Beulah (Bouchard) Baker. Carole’s heart and soul of this world were her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved the times when family would gather together for special occasions, holidays, or just because. Her hobbies were bowling, quilting, reading her Amish novels, and loved baking her Christmas goodies for family and friends. Carole served as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Paul and St. Francis parishes. She had a very strong faith and a love for the Lord. Carole is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald Brown; nine children, Rick Brown, Donna Leeman and husband, Roger, Tracy Brown and wife, Denise, Mike Brown, Michelle Webb and husband, Jack, David Brown and wife, Lisa, Tammy Johnson and husband, Dell, Jason Boucher and wife, Sherry, and Scott Brown and wife, Kristi; 14 grandchildren, Carrie, Courtney, Casey, Susanne, Lindsay, Francis, Scott, Jonah, Derrick, Taylor, Justin, Faith, Gracey, and Noah; three siblings, Linda Slauenwhite, Gerry Baker and wife, Sheila, and Terry Baker and wife, Robin; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her grandson, Adam Brown. The family wishes to give a very special thanks to Donna, Michelle, Tammy, and Taylor for providing such great care for mom and dad over these last few months. Family and friends are invited to call 11AM-1PM Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Lary Funeral Home, 31 Elm Street, Milo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3PM Friday, May 20, at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket, with the Rev. Dominic Savio, pastor, presider. Interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
