Abbot - Alvin L McAllister, 63, left this world on March 27, 2022. He was born August 16, 1958, to Erwin and Janice McAllister. Alvin began work at a young age and entered a strong work force for the Piel farm, Haley’s Construction, Moosehead Manufacturing, State Highway Department, Pride Manufacturing and the Town of Abbot. He enjoyed helping friends, cutting wood and had many hobbies such as hunting and scuba diving. He will be remembered as a dedicated father, grandfather, and loving husband. Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Christina; daughter, Susan; son, Erwin; granddaughter, Sadie; his brothers, Christopher, Michael, Steven Harrington, and Brad McAllister, along with nieces, nephews and a special aunt, Honey Porter.
