Brownville Junction – Vaughn “Joe” Lancaster Jr., 51, passed away unexpectedly March 12, 2022, at his home. He was born May 22, 1970, in Bangor, the son of Vaughn “Joe” Sr. and Sharon (Murray) Lancaster. Joe worked as a logger for many years. He enjoyed working in the woods and music. His real passion, however, was stock car racing; he absolutely loved racing. Joe is survived by his loving wife, April (Henderson) Lancaster of Brownville Junction; his mother, Sharon Lancaster of Brownville; son, Dustin Lancaster and his fiancée, Kathy Korona, of Rockland; daughter, Ashlee Lancaster of Hudson; 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Amelia, Ashton, Jackson, Alice Jo, and Tanner; brother, Jason Lancaster of Bangor; and sister, Joanna Wilkins and her fiancé, Jason Perkins, of Milo.
