Brownville – Alfred G. Shaw, 74, passed away March 10, 2022, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital. He was born July 24, 1947, in Island Falls, the son of Charles Sr. and Ruth (McNinch) Shaw. Over the years Alfred worked in the woods, for the Milo Water District, and for the Dexter Shoe Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of nearly 49 years, Rhonda (Moraisey) Shaw; son, Eric Shaw; grandchildren, Dylan Shaw, McKenzie Shaw, Izabella Rogers, Jesse Shaw, and Samantha Shaw; brothers, Jimmy Shaw and his wife, Pam, and Howard Shaw and his wife, Gloria; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his son, Alfred G. Shaw II, and both of his parents. A graveside funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
