Obituary of Donald Peter Thibeault
Jackman - Donald Peter Thibeault, 65, went home to be with our Lord and Savior the evening of February 22, 2022, after a long year of declining health. He was born April 13, 1956, in Greenville, the son of late Joseph Adrian Robert and Lucille (Lavigne) Thibeault. He was a long time resident of Jackman where he worked at Moose River Lumber from November 15, 1999 until April 11, 2012. Donnie was known for his warm and gentle spirit, his exceptional guitar skills and the ability to entertain a crowd of friends through humor and song at his home or at a venue. He enjoyed countless days of deer and bird hunting, and plenty of fishing with some dear and close friends including a constant companion of 7 years, a pug, Roxi, that he adored so much. His love for music, hunting, and fishing, live on in our fondest memories.
He is survived by three daughters, Teresa and her husband, Roger Young, of Charleston, Maranda and her husband, Justin Thomas, of Monson, and Andrea Willette of Norfolk, VA; a brother, Michael and his wife, Kathy Thibeault, of New Haven WV; grandchildren, Brittany, Candace, Jacob, Isaiah, Nathan, Malachi, Leah, Logan, Levi and Jeremiah; a great-grandchild, Ariyah; an aunt, Mary Jane Marshall, of Dover-Foxcroft; an uncle, Thomas Lavigne, of Beaver Cove; a few close and lifelong treasured friends, Penny Colby of Jackman, Richie Eagan of Damariscotta, and Robert McGee of Greenville, who all spent many years caring and looking out for him; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends from Jackman who thought the world of him. Donnie was also predeceased by a sister, Lisa (Thibeault) Phillips; a brother, Robert Thibeault; an aunt, Juanita (Lavigne) Tidd; a cousin, Malcolm "Mac" Tidd; a good friend and cousin, Peter L. Gravelle; and a niece, Leanna Sandlin.
