Obituary of Evelyn Nadeau

Brownville Junction – Evelyn Nadeau, 91, passed away March 1, 2022, at her home. She was born October 26, 1930, in St. Georges, Quebec, the daughter of Florian and Florence (Simard) Poulin. Evelyn loved traveling, cooking, and will be remembered as a wonderful painter. She and Bill enjoyed spending summers at their camp on Schoodic Lake and wintering on the East Coast of Florida for more than 20 years. Evelyn was affectionately known as Ninni to her grandchildren whom she adored, and was a lover of all animals, including her beloved pets KeeKee, PeeWee, and Choo-Choo. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William; two daughters, Tina Graves and her husband, Barrett, and Audrey Garcia and her husband, Robert; three grandchildren, Danielle Silverman and her husband, Brian, Robert Garcia, and Nicholas Garcia and his wife, Kim; two great grandchildren, Ava and Lucy Silverman; brother, Robert Poulin and his wife, Gertrude; sister-in-law, Patricia Hughey; and brother-in-law, Francis Lessard and his wife, Nancy. She was predeceased by her parents, and her son, Warren Nadeau. Burial will be in the Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Junction. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
