Please share a memory of Kelly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sebec - Kelly Jean Briggs, 55, lost her two-year battle with pancreatic cancer on February 25, 2022. She was born January 26, 1967, to Gary and Maureen Briggs. She is survived by her daughter, Bethany Curtis and wife, Ashley Curtis; brother, Kevin Briggs; and both of her parents, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Kelly was predeceased by two brothers, Joel Briggs and Christopher Briggs in 2021. Kelly graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1985. She attended KVCC where she obtained her MHRT-C which she applied to her career as a CRMA. Kelly was a passionate advocate against domestic violence. She volunteered many years with The Family Violence Project where she impacted many lives. Kelly was a dedicated mother to one daughter who she had with James Curtis in 1990. She loved many animals throughout the years; she leaves behind her constant companion, her beloved dog, Sara Jane, and cat, Tangy Rose. Kelly had a larger than life personality which made her many friends wherever she lived. She had a special bond with her best friends, Rachelle, Tracy, Colleen, and Penny. They enjoyed trips, concerts, and many adventures on the lake together. She had a passion for fishing, puzzles, playing games and most of all singing every chance she got. Kelly lived life to the fullest, always having a story to tell or a helping hand to lend. She will be greatly missed by all. Forever our Warrior Princess, fly high, RIP. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
