Brownville Junction - Jared H. Weston, 71, husband of Anne (Monahan) Weston, died unexpectedly after a long battle with a heart condition on February 25, 2022, at his home in Brownville Junction. Jared was born on August 2, 1950 in Milo, the son of Herbert and Ida Morrill Weston. He retired from Bangor & Aroostook Railroad in 1995 after 20 years. Jared enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving and Easter dinners at the Legion which always brought in a crowd. The fondest memory that Jared shared was how his mother used to yell for him when he was in trouble was ”June, Johnny, Eddie, Barbie, Jesus Jared" - which made Jared think "Jesus Jared " was his name. Jared is survived by his wife, Anne (Monahan) Weston; step-daughter, Kristin Winslow; step-sons, Samuel, Matthew, and Lucas Monahan; son, Michael Weston; 12 very special grandchildren, Justin, Lil Jared, Nichole, Logan, and Noah Monahan, Seth Winslow, Candace, Raquel, Justin, and David Weston, Josh and Kaylyn Walker; 9 great-grandchildren; three siblings, June Marsh, Johnny Weston and his wife, Ginger, and Barbara Sickler; brother-in-law, Durward Lynch and his wife, Mary; special friends, Whit Coburn and Dickie Monahan; and many, many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Lisa; brother, Eddie; sister-in-law, Frances; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Marsh Sr., Charlie Sickler, and John Lynch. A Celebration of Jared’s Life is being planned for July 30, 2022 at 16 Prospect St, Milo, starting at 12 noon. A request is to bring a special memory/picture to share with everyone.
