Guilford - Thelma Mae Millett left the home she loved in Guilford and has gone to her Heavenly Home surrounded by her loving family on February 26, 2022. She was born in Searsport on August 25, 1928 as one of seven children to James and Thelma Clark. She went to a one room schoolhouse and then on to Searsport High School. She worked outside her home, babysitting and doing office work. She loved to garden and had beautiful flowers all around her home, which she happily shared with anyone who asked. She also enjoyed working on sewing and embroidery projects, which she then gifted to others. After her husband retired from teaching, they worked together on a variety of building and woodworking projects including their most recent interest of rehabbing old porch rockers. She is survived by Richard, her loving husband of 58 years; their twin daughters, Roxanne Millett and her children, Landon, Holly, and Lily, and Rosanne Mann and her husband ,Robert, and her children, Hilary Mae and Kolby; son, Gary Peters and his wife, Sheril, and their three children, Jeff, Kristy, and Alicia; daughter, Paula Sanders and her husband, Glenn, and her sons, Chris and Peter; daughter, Juanita Jones and her husband, Dennis, and her daughter, Christina; daughter, Cathy Bilodeau and her husband, Patrick, and their two children, Jennifer and Jeremy; and daughter, Peggy Glover and her husband, Gilman, and their two children, Kevin and Leslie. Overall, she had 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was also survived by two brothers, Donald and Robert Clark. She was predeceased by three sisters Rose, Cheryl, and Juanita; one brother James; son-in-law, Terry Bates; and grandson, Justin Roy. She was very proud of her family. Peace and love be with them all. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers that provided comfort both at home and at Hilltop Manor and especially to Pam at Hospice. A celebration of her life will be at 1pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Garland Community Baptist Church.
