Obituary of Robert Weingart
Greenville - Robert Weingart, 69, passed away October 4, 2016, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1947, the son of Robert T. Weingart, Sr. and Gertrude M. (Deblon) Weingart Hahn. Bob's favorite pasttime aside from computers was to go on long bike rides across the state with his friends in the Moosehead Manglers and his son. When Bob wasn't preparing a homemade pizza from his closely guarded recipe, he could be found working on the campground he and Lillian operated together for 27 years, or out in the yard playing catch with his dog, Kali.
In addition to his loving wife of 38 years, Lillian Nelson Weingart, of Greenville, Bob is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Christina Walrond Weingart, of Washington DC; daughters Kelly Weingart of Virginia and Patricia Weingart and her partner Scottie Somers of California; sisters Amy Latham and her husband Wes, and Margaret Muckin and her husband Gary of Pennsylvnia; his sisters-in-law Cyndi Hahn, Patricia Tallman and her husband Jerry, Ann Marie Frauenheim and her husband Pierce, all of New Jersey; and Joan Bollinger and her husband Fred, of Florida; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and father, step-father, Harold Hahn, and brother, Harold Hahn Jr.
The family would like to thank EMMC for their diligence and compassion, as well as all their neighbors and friends for their support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Friday, October 7, 2016, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, officiated by the Reverend Father Aaron Damboise.
