Obituary of Patricia A. Stanchfield

Milo – Patricia A. Stanchfield, 88, passed away January 30, 2022, at Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born November 19, 1933, in Milo, the daughter of Elmer E. and Eva Frances (Harris) Stanchfield. Pat grew up in Milo and graduated from Milo High School before attending and graduating from commercial school in Philadelphia. She was employed by Merrill Trust Company, Ladd Insurance, and retired as a secretary after many years from the B&A Railroad. Pat and her sister, Maxine, shared a very special bond having lived together for greater than 20 years. They shared many laughs, and fun adventures. One of Pat’s favorites was their yearly shopping trip with her sister, sister-in-law, nieces, and friends. Pat had a heart as big as they come. She was always there and willing to take care of her family when they needed. Pat is survived by her sister, Maxine Kole; two brothers, Glenn Stanchfield and his wife, Rena, and Elmer “Jack” Stanchfield and his wife, Jannie; nieces and nephews, Curt Kole and his wife, Libby, Tommy Kole and his wife, Oxana, Kelli Kole and her fiance, Brooks, Joi Stevens and her husband, Chuck, Ivy Stanchfield and her partner, David, Kerri Glickman and her husband, Mitch, Todd Stanchfield and his wife, Sherri, Phillip Stanchfield and his wife, Trendy, and Angela Stanchfield; and many loving great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for their wonderful care of Pat and to Beacon Hospice and their staff, particularly Amanda. They, also, wish to give special thanks to Pat’s niece, Joi, for all of her compassionate care over the years. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, in the spring.
