I’m fortunate to have known Ginny as a young child; she was friends with my mother (Pat Stewart), worked with her at Penquis CAP, and hauled John to my house for us to play in the sandbox together. It was clear even as a little kid that she had a strong soul, and in that way was a kindred spirit with my own mom.
Over the past several years, I was fortunate enough to get to know her again as I delivered fresh vegetables to her door every week throughout the summer. We’d chat a little bit about John, or my job, or events in Greenville - she was a wonderful and easy conversationalist. And kind. And with the same strong spirit from 45 years ago… she seemed the same to me, with maybe just a bit more wisdom if possible.
My thoughts are with her family.

My sincere condolences to John and his family. I knew Virginia years ago and always knew she was a strong, independent woman who's whole world was centered around John. I'm sure God had a place ready for her in Heaven.

Ginny was truly an example of a life well lived even through her challenges. Her strength, her humor, her persistence in helping others. Through the years when she worked at Penquis CAP, she and my Mom had some many telltale adventures.
Ginny and Jodi (what a pair) were the best people to reach out to the many families in need across the county. They were pivotal in bringing comfort to endless people. They brought a caring heart along every day. Their humor was a piece of lightheartedness for anyone and everyone.
Thank you Ginny.

I have always wondered about Ginny and where she was. She made an impression on me many yrs ago. I met her when she would be at my Dad's Campbells store. She was one tough cookie and knew how to take care of herself and do anything. She did have a wit about her. Nice lady . Sorry for your loss. RIP
