Brownville Junction – Errol F. Estes Jr., 90, passed away January 9, 2022, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born September 30, 1931, in Brownville Junction, the son of Errol F. Sr. and Adelia (Cary) Estes. Errol worked many years for the Canadian Pacific and Bangor and Aroostook Railroads. He proudly served the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Errol is survived by his brother, William Estes; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, and three sisters, Edwina Estes, Hilda Mae Warlick, and Marion Schwarz.
A graveside funeral with military honors will be held in the family lot in Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Junction, in the spring.
