Milo- John J. Latimer, 62, passed away unexpectedly January 1, 2022, at a Rehabilitation Center in West Haven, Connecticut. He was born November 23, 1959, in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Edward and Mary Bartley.
John was a hard working man, and did everything he could to provide for his family and friends. John especially treasured being a grandfather and was lovingly called “Papa John”. He served our country with the US Army; he loved his country so much. He wore his Connecticut veterans’ hat proudly.
John is survived by his son, John Michaud and wife, Rene, of Milo; grandchildren, William Kensell and Aidan East of Milo; step-daughter, Michelle Michaud of Milo; sister, Terry Latimer and husband, Corrado Nane, of East Hampton, Connecticut; and cousin Debbie and husband, George, of East Hartford, Connecticut. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Bartley of Connecticut; and his two brothers, Donald Bartley and EJ Bartley. He will be missed by many friends and extended family.
A small family gathering will be held in the spring to celebrate John’s life. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
