Milo – Richard N. Grondin, 81, passed away unexpectedly December 17, 2021, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born December 30, 1939, in Milo, the son of Abraham Lincoln Grondin and Eloise M. (Decker) Grondin. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Richard enjoyed watching the old Westerns, boating, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Elks Club.
Richard is survived by two sons, David Grondin, and Mark MacGown and his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Valerie Grondin, and her partner, Heath Campbell, and Gina Gaudet and her husband, George; brother, Steven Grondin and his wife, Debra; and several grandchildren, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Douglas Files.
Services will be in the spring of 2022. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
