I have so many happy memories of my times with Joyce, starting in childhood and all the way through our adult years. Since she was three years older than me, she was a cousin that I looked up to and aspired to be like. I looked forward to our visits together and especially our in depth talks and all the laughing. She was an excellent mother, expert seamstress, great cook and no one could throw a party quite like her! Family was very important to her and I am so glad that I was a part of it. I deeply grieve the loss of her and my heart goes out especially to Heather and Jim. She will live forever in my heart.

To Heather, James, and everyone in Joyce's family, please accept my sincere condolences. Joyce was a high school classmate of mine. She was a sweet, talented, and loving woman. Before I retired, Joyce often stopped in to visit with me in my office when she was in town. I always enjoyed chatting with her. I was so sad when dementia took over her mind and body. As difficult as her death is for everyone, she is free now of the debilitating dementia. God has gained an angel. May she be resting in gentle peace.

I will always remember my sweet cousin who I grew up with. The memories of band, 4-H, the society seven plays we put on, and always a smile and beautiful laugh. I look forward to seeing you again, one day, and we will have a great reunion with Mom and Dad, your mom and dad, and so many more. So thankful for your beautiful family also.

My Aunty Jo was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. She even traveled all the way to Germany to visit us. I can remember watching her do her make-up and wanting to be just like her when I grew up. She was a bright light in this world that was put out far too soon. Love you always! ❤

I have fond memories of growing up together on Bear Hill, sneaking golden delicious apples, skating on the frog pond, Baptist Youth Fellowship, holidays at the farm, and her beautiful laugh. There will always be a Society Seven. Love to Joyce's family. Swan
