Obituary of Joseph E. LeClair

Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Guilford - Joseph E. LeClair, III, 58, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, in a Bangor hospital. Joe, or Joey to some, was born July 12, 1963, in Buffalo, New York to parents, Joseph E. and Susan J. (Hill) LeClair. The family moved to Blanchard, Maine when he was 7. Joe loved life and his deep laugh could be heard by anyone within earshot. He loved his truck and enjoyed driving around the back roads of Maine. A favorite spot of his was Coos Canyon, where he took his metal detector in hopes of finding a few nuggets of gold. He was helpful to everyone and had a joyful soul, which will stay in our hearts forever. He is survived by his lifelong partner of 40 years, Teresa York; her son, Edward York; and his grandson, Levi James York. He also leaves behind his siblings, Steven LeClair, Cindy Spain, and Penny LeClair, as well as many nieces and nephews, and many other family members. He will be greatly missed by his countless friends and community members in the Blanchard, Monson, Abbot, and Guilford areas. His pride and joy was his kitty, Kitler, who already misses him dearly. He was honored to have been baptized by a dear family friend on one cold Thanksgiving morning several years ago. And on this Thanksgiving, he will join his parents to wait for the Father to call him home. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Lakeroad Cemetery, Monson. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
