Obituary of Timothy C. Dauphinee
Guilford – Timothy C. Dauphinee, 64, husband of April L. (Applebee) Dauphinee, per Tim’s words, “has kicked the bucket” September 15, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born December 26, 1951, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Lawrence B. and Adeline E. (Boutin) Dauphinee.
Tim had worked in the woods for many years, logging “from the stump to the mill”. He will always be remembered for his humor. He was forever the life of the party, with a smile that would light up a room. He has inspired so many people’s lives with his morals, hard work, and ability to tell people what needed to be said, often reminding us, “God first, family second.” In addition to being a hardworking man, he was a loving husband, father, and “Grumpy” (grandfather). Some final thoughts from Tim: “I kicked the bucket, Grease for Peace, so have thirty beers and a red hotdog on me!” “And Pallbearers, take it easy, I still have a couple of payments left.”
He is survived by his wife, April, of Guilford; his mother, Adeline Dauphinee, of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Craig Dauphinee and his wife, Misty, of Oceanside, CA; two daughters, Clarissa Larry and her husband, David, of Abbot, and Heidi Presti and her husband, Chris, of Winthrop; two brothers, Daniel Dauphinee and his wife, Rebecca, of Glenburn, and Jeffrey Dauphinee and his wife, Sharon, of Matthews, NC; a brother-in-law, Darold Applebee and his wife, Joyce, of Guilford, a sister-in-law, Roberta Thomas, of Guilford, a brother-in-law, Peter Applebee and his wife, Amy, of Woolwich, a sister-in-law, Ginney Moore of Danielson, CT; 5 grandchildren, Keenan and Noah Larry, Rhiannon Dauphinee, and Cru and Meelah Presti. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Dauphinee, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Vena Applebee. A special thank you is extended to Dad’s hospice nurse, Marsha.
