Obituary of Dennis Lee Dillingham

Please share a memory of Dennis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Parkman – Dennis Lee Dillingham, 49, died unexpectedly November 11, 2021. He was born February 9, 1972, in Waterville, the son of Marilyn Bagley and Sherman Dillingham. Dennis enjoyed kayaking, hunting, fishing, skiing, and attending all the guys’ camping trips, but he would tell you that spending time with his special nephew, Abel, who fondly referred to Dennis as Uncle D, brought him the greatest joy. Dennis was a quiet reserved guy but was always game for anything and willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked him. Dennis is survived by his parents, Marilyn and her husband, Hal Currier, of Parkman; a sister, Winnona Currier and her son, Abel, of Parkman; as well as honorary sisters (technically cousins), Sheila and her husband, John Ronco, of Dover, Cheryl and her husband, Doug Bussell, of Parkman, Bonnie and her wife, Anita Pike, of Cambridge, Brenda Pike and her boyfriend, Jason Braley, of Massachusetts, Winnie and her husband, Pat Adelt, of Guilford, and their families; best friend, Joey, and his parents, Don and Peggy LeBlanc, their daughter, Michelle Collins and her children; and many, many more special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Sherman Dillingham; his “second mom” Pluma and her husband, Clair Pike, and their son, Duane, whom Dennis considered a brother. A graveside committal service will be held at a date to be determined at Burdin’s Corner Cemetery, Wellington, with Dennis’s best friend, Joey LeBlanc officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
