As a little girl growing up to be a woman I had many hugs from Gladys and Tony over the years and many meals at TJ‘s. My dad Lorin Herring sent me to the restaurant many times to deliver meat. Gladys was a terrific lady. May she RIP❤️

I worked for Gladys and Tony back in the 80"s. I enjoyed every moment. Gladys was the matriarch and I loved working for her. I saw her about a year and a half ago and she was just as I remembered her. RIP Gladys. With love, Mary (Gilbert) Starbird.

My Aunty Gladys was like my second mom she was always there for me she fed me and buy me the things I needed I moved to Maine with Uncle Tony and her in 1962 I was 14. as I had children she was my daughter Cindy's godmother. When I moved to Washington state we always stayed in touch and when we would come to visit her door was always open even when we would bring our granddaughter Shyla she loved her she taught my wife Laurie all her delicious recipes and she cherishes them!! As we just moved back to Maine 3 months ago it was our pleasure to treat her to lunches and visit with her she will be truly missed but never forgotten R.I.P. Aunty G till we meet again love Joey and Laurie

There will never be another Glad! Her love of her family, and pleasing all who came to her table. What I will remember fondly are the Christmas parties. All of her family welcomed Ken and me into their home, and treated us like family, or better. To TJ, Allison, and Cheryl, you Dad must be happy to have her back with him. Sending much love and condolences. Love you all!

Sorry to hear of Glady’s passing. Had some great meals when her and Tony had the restaurant. She used to make a special sandwich for me. She was a special lady!

My favorite Lady. I not only looked up to her in my childhood, but became a good friend of hers in our adult life. I used to stay @ my cousin Tony's in Dexter in the early years of my career while working in the area. Many a martini's with TJ and great food from Gladys and Aunt Susie. Later in life we made it a point to go there (Dexter) every Christmas for our one or two day celebration, Gladys, TJ, Allison, Brian, Eric my daughter Alison, and brother Larry and other family members. We had a great time each and every year. I will miss my friend more than I can say. She was a bright and shinning star and a great and loyal friend, not just a relative. May she rest in peace and be up there with the love of her life. God Bless her and God Bless the entire family. My sincere condolences. Mike Batignani
