Sangerville – Shirley W. Campbell, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, November 7, 2021, at Sanfield Rehab and Living Center. She was born August 2, 1932, in Pittsfield, the daughter of Dana C. and Dorothy M. (Smith) Withee. Shirley was one of a kind, and will be dearly missed by her family and all who had the privilege to know her and be her friend. Her wit, humor, and caring for the less fortunate in the world will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She spent many good years in retirement and enjoyed that time traveling around the state and country. Shirley thoroughly enjoyed a couple Alaska trips with her husband, Owen. Shirley is survived by her husband, Owen Campbell; sons, Allan Nutting and his wife, Blanch, of Charlestown, NH, and Randall Nutting and his wife, Thora, or Corinna; grandson, Andrew Nutting and his wife, Heather, of Charlestown, NH; granddaughters, Monica Storer of Monson, Lorna Applebee of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Ruth Nutting of Scottsdale, Arizona; great-grandsons, Cole Edes, Brandon Nutting, and Gavin Nutting; sister, Marilyn Gray of Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Donald Nutting; son, Richard Nutting; brother, Arthur; and two sisters, Joyce and Beverly. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Grace Bible Church, Sangerville, with Pastor David Ray Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Townhouse Cemetery, Sangerville. Following the committal, a continued time of fellowship and light food and refreshments will be held back at the church. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
