Bradford – Richard E. Hurd Jr., 53, died unexpectedly October 27, 2021, at his home. He was born April 2, 1968, in Bangor, the son of Richard E. Hurd Sr. and Madeliene (Newell) Hurd Huntington. Richard worked many years as a cable lineman. He was an avid Hunter, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends. Richard is survived by his father, Richard Hurd Sr. of Bradford; mother, Madeliene Hurd Huntington of Augusta; two sisters, Sheila Wickett and her fiance, Calvin Borsch, of Florida, and Hope Wiles and her husband, David Jr., of Milford; two step-sisters, Charla Burnett and husband, Chris, and Lorna Parker and her husband, Donald; step-brothers, Robert and Fred Day; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his companion, Anna Roman. Family and Friends may call from 12 Noon until time of service at 1PM Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Bradford. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
