Sebec-Vaughn J. Ricker, 46, passed away October 23, 2021, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital. He was born November 15, 1974, in Waterville, the son of Brian V. Ricker and Renda (LaCrosse) Gray. Vaughn worked many years as a planer operator at Pleasant River Lumber. He had a natural gift for carpentry and loved to tinker on vintage atvs and classic cars. He enjoyed fishing and playing the drums. Vaughn is survived by his mother, Renda Gray; father, Brian Ricker and his wife, Donna; son, Dustin J. Ricker and his wife, Trista; grandchildren, Daigen, Kinleigh, and Easton ; sister, Briana Dyer and her husband, John; step sisters, Sarah Michaud, Missy Watters and her husband, Matt; step brother, Eric Michaud and his wife, Alysson and children, Riley and Jaykob ;uncle, Frank LaCrosse; niece, Blake Dyer; nephew, Nicholas Dyer; lifelong childhood friends, Floyd Corbin and Toby Stewart; and best friend and jammin’ buddy, Matt Decker. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Llyod Gray and Pauline LaCrosse; paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Ruth Cleaves; aunts, Susan Ricker and Brenda LaCrosse; cousin, Christopher Gustin. A Celebration of a Life will be held 1-4PM Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds, 77 Fairview Avenue, Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
