Dover-Foxcroft- Priscilla M. (Cochran) Tucker, 92, passed away at Hilltop Manor in Dover-Foxcroft on October 15, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1929, in Dover-Foxcroft, to Archie and Grace (Fillmore) Cochran. Priscilla married her beloved husband, Willis Tucker, on February 14, 1945. They were married for 41 years until his death in 1986. Priscilla loved to sew and was a beautiful seamstress. She worked at Hathaway Shirts where she was a shop steward and then at Dexter Shoe. She loved flowers and spent many summer days in her gardens. She fed the birds and enjoyed sitting on her back porch with nature. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. For her entire life Priscilla was a devoted Christian and a member of the Advent Christian Church/Church of God. She was a deaconess and secretary of the church for many years. She also belonged to the Pine Needle Christmas Club and loved monthly meetings with the girls. Priscilla is survived by her son, Richard Tucker and his wife, Ellen, of Dover-Foxcroft; her grandson, Willis “Bill” Knowles, and his wife, Josie, of Thomaston; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Eleanor Godreau, of Dover-Foxcroft; and several nieces and nephews. Priscilla was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Paul and Ralph; daughter, Bonnie Brawn; and granddaughter, Kristi Gould. The family would like to express their thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospital and a very special thank you to all of the staff at Hilltop Manor for their kindness and the special care she received while there. Family and friends are invited to visit from 4:00-6:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Lary Funeral Home in Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 22, 2021, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Steve Phillips officiating.
