Sebec – Joyce E. Smith, 67, passed away peacefully October 1, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Guilford. She was born January 28, 1954, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Alden L. and Muriel E. (Hall) Tibbetts. Joyce loved being at camp on Kingsbury Pond, traveling to the coast with her mother and father, and twirling her baton which she did competitively for years. She enjoyed bingo, scratch tickets, and watching sports. Joyce is survived by her son, Jason Luce; two daughters, Nena Gustin and her companion, Kenneth Hunt, and Michelle Rollins and her husband, Jared; brother, Dale Tibbetts and his wife, Debbie; eight grandchildren, Chelsey Gustin, Latoia Pratt, Avonna Gustin, Michael Michaela Gustin, Trevor Gustin, Devonne Ward, Jaiden Ward, and Aubree Rollins; two great-grandchildren, Haley Gustin and Avah Boutilier; three step-grandchildren, Hayden and Riley Hunt, and Kaden Rollins; sister-in-law, Jean Tibbetts; and several extended family members, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice; her parents; and her brother, Rodney Tibbetts. Family and friends are invited to visit from 1PM until time of service at 2PM Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
