Dover-Foxcroft – Arnold “Peanut” E. Ramsdell Jr., 74, passed away September 25, 2021, at Northern Light Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born December 9, 1946, in Hartland, the son of Arnold E. Sr. and Audrey (Spencer) Ramsdell. Peanut enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and especially fishing. He loved four wheeling and spending time with family and friends. Peanut is survived by his son, Mark Ramsdell and his fiancée, Susan Frost, of Hartland; daughter, Judy Huff and her husband, Travis, of Skowhegan; step-son, Basil Rowe, of Michigan; brother, Bill Ramsdell and his wife, Michelle, of Hartland; two sisters, Donna Nash and Shirley Hall, both of Eddington; 7 grandchildren, Zack Frost, Jessica Morrill, Samantha Chase, Tevin and Trenton Huff, Brooklyn Smith and husband, Teddy, and Trevor Rowe and wife, Paige ; four great-grandchildren, Jaedyn, Conner, Carson, and Alison; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Robbins) Ramsdell, and his sister, Rosalie Black. The family wishes to thank one of his best friends, Martha Kennedy, for all her care. A celebration of life potluck will be held all day long on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at his camp on Branns Mill Pond, 107 Wheaton Road, Dover-Foxcroft. Anyone who wishes to stay the night, please bring what you need. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
